PUF Wall Panel Guide
PUF wall panels are wall boards with a PU foam core, named here by core rather than by wall system. This guide stays with the PU core option and the general panel routes; full wall-system detail sits with the dedicated wall-system specialist site.
PUF wall boards
PUF wall boards use the sandwich construction with PU foam as the core, oriented to insulation and lightweight uses. Machine-made tongue-and-groove boards install quickly along wall runs, while handmade boards suit walls that need pre-embedded conduits and pre-cut openings. State which route each wall needs, because route decides what the wall can carry.
Wall joints and junctions
Joint systems are tongue-and-groove joining, middle-aluminium joining and blind-panel ceiling joining. Where a PUF wall meets a ceiling, state the ceiling joint with the wall joint so the junction is planned. For cold storage walls, name the chamfer joint airtightness requirement with the board dimensions.
